	*About the Foundation* The A Way With Words Foundation (AWWWF) was created for people who are survivors, relatives, or anyone who has been touched by cancer. The primary goals are to provide avenues of expression for cancer survivors, especially after treatment; to generate resources for healing and surviving; to increase awareness of cancer in children; and to raise money for cancer research and for cancer survivors. We also wish to raise awareness about cancer challenges and survivor tools in a way that creates a positive force in our communities. Learn more about the Foundation . . . . The Foundation sponsors the ROCcK (Raising Our Commitment to Cancer Kids) Children's Choir. Read more about the choir . . . . Artist and creator of the new LIFE MAXX™ comic book series Chris Yambar appeared in November, 2007 at a local fundraiser and a national conference to introduce the new concept of a superhero who is a cancer survivor. George Broderick, Jr. assisted in preparing the first edition of the comic book that features LIFE MAXX, CHEMO GIRL and related characters™. Check out the report of the events . . . . Chris Yambar and LIFE MAXX™ appeared at the March 15, 2008 Pancake Breakfast. See Event Report for more details. Since the introduction of LIFE MAXX and friends, interest in the cancer survivor superhero has been such that Yambar and the A Way With Words Foundation, Inc. is creating animated segments for children with cancer and for the public. More news to follow as it happens!
	Courtesy Karen O'Malia One of the most exciting and successful activities of the Foundation is the R.O.C.c.K. Children's Choir. A group of cancer patients, survivors, and family members, the choir sings to cope and to reach out to others like themselves.	Courtesy Tasha Agustin Watch for our year round Fundraising Events that include celebrities autographing at the events or just mixing with the crowds at car shows, auctions, Concerts, Golf Tournaments, and shopping adventures.
